Dan Shaw is one of those lucky guys who decided to move to Telluride in 1973 and begin his life long career in the real estate business. Prior to coming to Telluride in 1973, Dan received his BS degree in Industrial Economics from Purdue University in 1971.
After working for 2 local real estate firms, Dan opened his own real estate brokerage firm in 1978 in a location in downtown Telluride known locally as “The Pekkarine Boutique” located on Main Street.
Dan has started-up several real estate oriented businesses in Telluride including founding Resort Rentals, a short-term property management company in 1980 and Telluride Hotel Management Company.
